Simikotkailash Trekking is a popular pilgrimage Trek. The remote area of western Tibet is visited by only few tourist. It is famous for the Holy Mount Kailash. The part of Kailash is sacred to Hindus, Budhhists, Jains and Tibetans religion. Most of the pilgrims travel to kailash to perform Parikrama or Kora (circumambulating of the mountain). Ancient beliefs Kailash as the mighty Sumeru which remains to be central peak of the world. For Buddhist religion it represents the means to enlightenment. For Hindus Kailash is the home to Lord Shiva whose matted hair forms Holi Ganges. The elevation of Kailash is 6,714 meters which dominates Tibetan Plateau. Kailash has its own significant beliefs it is the heaven for higher level Gods.

Flight Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and O/N at hotel.
Morning flight Nepalgunj to Simikot and trek to Dharapuri, and tented camp.
Trek to Kermi, and tented camp
Trek to Yalbang Gompa, and tented camp.
Trek to Tumkot, and tented camp
Trek to Thado Dhunga, and tented camp.
Trek over Nara La Pass (4450 meters.) and trek down to Hilsa (Nepal – Tibet border), and tented camp.
Half an hour trek to Sher, and drive to Purang. O/N at Guesthouse
Drive to Manasarovar Lake, tented camp
Rest day at Manasarovar Lake (visit Chiu Gompa in the morning).
Drive to Darchen, and tented camp.
Trek to Derapuk, and tented camp.
Trek over Dolma La Pass (5600 meters.) and trek down to Zudulpuk, and camp.
Drive to Paryang, and tented camp.
Drive to Saga, and tented camp
Drive to Nyalam, O/N at Guesthouse
Drive to Friendship Bridge, then to Kathmandu. O/N at hotel
Sightseeing tour at Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar squares. O/N at hotel.
Drive to Airport for your onward journey.
