We offer an excellent journey to Langtang valley from Shyaprubesi after 9 hrs drive from Kathmandu following a trail upstream of Bhote Koshi river. The Trail offers you a great combination of Harmony with nature, fascinating green valleys and the laps of Himalayan range of Mountains and numerous lake. During the Langtang Valley Trek, the trail passes through ancient villages, Rhododendron forest, Oak forest which offers a joyful moment. People of this region belong to Tamangs, Lamas and Sherpa community. Though they belong to a different group, they are encircled with Buddhist religion where their culture is adaptable. This day we will drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi which takes about nine hours by local bus. By jeep it will take about 7 hours drive to Shyabrubesi. We head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. While passing along Rani Pouwa we will catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, Langtang himal, terraces and green hills. Stay overnight at lodge.
This day we will walk for about 7 hours to reach Chilime. We will walk for about 2 and half hours uphill and again 3 and half hours through straight trail and downhill trail. On the way we will cross few Tamang villages, meet local people mostly tamangs. (Tamang are one of the ethnic groups of Nepal). Overnight at lodge
This day we will walk for about 7 hours to reach Birmdang through downhill trail first and then straight trail. After crossing small river, again we will walk through uphill trail. On the way we will cross small Tamang villages.In Tatopani there is hot spring, People of Nepal believe that having bath in this hot spring will heal various skin diseases, so people of different parts of Nepal visit there to have a bath. This day we will walk for about 2 hours to reach Nagthali, from here we can see good views few peaks such as Paldor Peak, Langtang range, mountains of Tibet side. After having lunch at Nagthali we will again walk for about 2 hours through downhill trail to reach Thuman then after First 3 hours we will walk through narrow trail. On the way we will cross few Tamang and Sherpa villages, corn fields, cross Bhotekoshi river through suspension bridge. After crossing Bhotekoshi river we will reach Briddhim. . On the way we will cross small jungle.Thuman is big Tamang village, we can interact with local people, and get information about local culture and tradition.Overnight at lodge
This day we will walk for about 6 hours. On the way we will walk through mostly straight trail, cross Tamang and Sherpa villages, small jungles, see views of surrounding areas. Lama Hotel is just 15 minutes walk from Rimche. From Lama hotel we cannot see good views and we cannot see sunlight in early morning. Rimche is better and open place, we can feel sunlight till late evening.Overnight at lodge
This day we will walk through almost straight trail. We will reach Gomna after walking for about 2 hours crossing rhododendron and oak forests. From Gomna we will walk through uphill trail towards Ghodatabela for about 1 hour. We can have lunch at Ghoda Tabela. After having lunch we will start walking through uphill trail crossing Thangsep village, In this village we will find mostly Tamang people (one of the ethnic groups in Nepal) . After walking for about 2 hours from Thangsep village we will reach Langtang. Overnight at lodge.
From Langtang we will walk for about 3 hours to reach Kyanjin Gompa. On the way we can see very good views of Langtang mountain range including Naya Khang, Ganjala Himal, Langtang Lirung. we can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m.), from Kuangin Ri we can see breathtaking panoramic view of the Langtang Himalayan Range. Overnight at lodge.
This day we walk all the way down towards Lama hotel. It will take 5 or 6 hours to reach Lama hotel. We will have lunch in Ghoda Tabela. After lunch, we will continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel. Overnight at lodge.
This day we will walk all the way down towards Landslide hotel. After walking for about 3 and half hours we will reach Landslide hotel. We will have lunch at Landslide hotel. After having lunch we will walk for about 2 hours through uphill trail towards Thulo Syabru. From Thulo Syabru we can see good views of Paldor peak, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and Langtang Ri. Overnight at lodge.
This day we will drive to Kathmandu by bus or by private vehicle, by local bus it will take about nine hours and by vehicle it will take about 7 hours drive to Kathmandu. Overnight at Nirvana Garden Hotel.
